UNIVERSITY OF CAPE COAST WELCOMES FRESHERS TO THE LAND OF POSSIBILITIES
Thousands of fresh students have started arriving on campus to begin the 2023/24 academic year at their dream university - University of Cape Coast (UCC)
Smiling broadly, the freshers - in the company of their guardians- went through registration formalities at their halls of residence.
While those who had met their mates from senior high school looked excited to be together in UCC too, it was an emotional moment as some first year students were spotted taking memorable photographs with their parents.
“It’s a great joy for me to gain admission to the top-ranked university in Ghana and West Africa, ” a fresher, 18- year-old Louisa Frimpong, who aspires to become an Immigration officer, said.
Top student government officials, led SRC President, Vincent Kojo Siabi, better known as S.K, were captured offloading bag and baggage of the fresh students, braving the scorching sun.
