About GNPC Scholarship
A prize given by the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) is known as the GNPC Scholarship.
Through the GNPC Foundation, GNPC provides a small number of undergraduate and graduate scholarships each academic year to deserving Ghanaian applicants.
The scholarship is valid at authorized public tertiary institutions in Ghana for a variety of degree programs.
GNPC Scholarship Eligibility
1. Candidates must be citizens of Ghana.
2. Must have been admitted to a Ghanaian tertiary institution to pursue a postgraduate or undergraduate degree program.
Required Documents for Postgraduate in the GNPC Scholarship
1. Scanned copy of the letter of admission.
2. Transcript in scanned format.
3. Certificate for the first degree, scanned.
4. A scanned copy of another degree’s diploma (only for PhDs).
5. Duplicate a curriculum vitae.
6. Scanned copies of the academic and professional letters of recommendation.
7. Certified National Service Certificate scan.
8. Scanned copy of nationality documentation (national identification card or bio-data page).
9. A passport.
Preference Categories
Preference for the scholarship will be given to applicants in the following categories:
- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
- Special Education
- Agricultural Science
- Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
Required Documents for Undergraduates in the GNPC Scholarship
1. Scanned copy of the letter of admission
2. Proof of Nationality (Birth Certificate/National Identification Card) or Scanned Copy of WAEC Results
3. Photo on a passport
4. A scanned copy of your former school’s testimonial
5. Students who are still enrolled must upload their academic records.
6. A previous undergraduate certificate (degree, HND, or diploma) and the related transcript are required for applicants seeking a different undergraduate certificate.
How to Apply
1. Go to http://www.gnpcfoundation.org/apply/pages/login.php to first access the GNPC Scholarship Portal 2023/2024.
2. Then, to create an account, click the “Create Account” button and enter the required information, including a valid phone number and working email address.
3. Your specified email will receive a form ID/PIN that has been generated.
4. To access the GNPC Scholarship Application form ID or PIN, check your email address or the spam mail part of your inbox.
5. Once you’ve done that, go to http://www.gnpcfoundation.org/apply/pages/login.php and log in using your phone number and form ID.
6. Then correctly complete the GNPC Scholarship Application form with all the necessary information.
7. Applicants with disabilities must provide a medical record as proof of their condition.
8. You must attach your statement of results if you are a continuing student.
Guidelines for the GNPC Scholarship
1. All applications must be submitted online at www.gnpcghana.com; submissions sent in physical copy will be refused.
2. All applicants with disabilities must provide a medical certificate describing their condition and its severity.
3. Additionally, candidates who get any kind of scholarship for their schooling should not apply.
4. Your ability to get this scholarship award depends on your ability to provide truthful information. As a result, any major misstatement renders the application worthless.
The applicant must return all funds paid to him or her and may be prosecuted, or both, if any investments were made based on the misrepresentation. Any award made based on misrepresentation must also be revoked.
5. Only those who have been shortlisted will be contacted and then given a scholarship.
