Students (UCC)

On January 29, 2025, Scholar Connect, led by its founder, Master Jehoshaphat Inkoom (JE-HOPE), submitted a comprehensive and practical proposal* to the Dean of Students, Prof. Daniel Apaak, addressing the pressing accommodation crisis.

Copies were also shared with the Vice-Chancellor and key stakeholders to push for urgent action.

During discussions, Master JE-HOPE further raised concerns about the pressure on lecture halls and the need to strengthen online learning platforms as the university expands. He also called for an efficient, digital-friendly system to grant students, especially freshers, instant access to timetables via their portals instead of relying on outdated notice boards.

With an unmatched track record in leadership and student advocacy*, Master JE-HOPE reaffirmed his commitment to championing student-centered reforms in collaboration with the SRC and university authorities. The Dean acknowledged the proposal and assured that it would be given due consideration to enhance student welfare.

Real change is possible—let’s make it happen together!
