During the meeting, JE-HOPE emphasized the urgent need for automating the timetable system immediately after course registration to improve efficiency. The Director welcomed the proposal and fully supported the idea. However, he also highlighted the existing challenges facing the IT Directorate and stressed the need for collective stakeholder involvement to ensure its successful implementation.
Additionally, JE-HOPE raised concerns about the poor network connectivity and Wi-Fi challenges in the halls of residence and campus. In response, the Director expressed his willingness to engage further with JCRC executives and the SRC to discuss sustainable solutions for improving internet connectivity and network signals across campus.
Reaffirming his commitment to student advocacy,
JE-HOPE assured the IT Directorate of his readiness to facilitate stakeholder engagements and ensure that these pressing concerns are addressed swiftly.
